DESCRIPTION:This webinar is designed to help you better understand the power of and to better embrace the idea of earning dual certifications. We will discuss the benefits of dual certifications\, review the most recent salary surveys\, and then Dr. Kengia will share multiple recipes to help you create your own alphabet soup. \nBrief Speaker Bio: \nDr. Kengia Sabree\, also known as “The HIM Certification Coach” holds a B.S. degree in Health Information Management from DeVry University\, an M.S. degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University. In addition\, Kengia completed her doctoral coursework in Higher Education Leadership and Management at Capella University. \nKengia earned her RHIT in 2008\, superseding it with the RHIA in 2010. Kengia earned the CCA in 2017 to share the experience with her students. In 2021\, Kengia became a member of HIMSS and earned the CAHIMS credential. \nOver the years\, she has held numerous leadership positions in Health Information Management in several hospitals throughout the Tampa Bay Area. Kengia began teaching in 2011\, transitioning into academia full time in 2016 and has since found her passion for teaching\, mentoring\, and helping HIM students and professionals earn their certification and secure employment in HIM.
