DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Thursday\, August 22nd from noon to 1:00 pm E.T. for a free session on AHIMA’s vision for our profession and the field of H.I.M. with Dr. Jasmine T. Agnew\, DHPE\, MHIIM\, RHIA\, CPHIMS\, CSBI\, eFACHDM. Dr. Agnew is the new Senior Vice President\, Academic Affairs and Professional Credentials at AHIMA. \nDr. Agnew is an award-winning educator in the field of health informatics and information management. She is a published author\, community activist\, ecumenical scholar\, and health equity advocate. Dr. Agnew is passionate about addressing inequities in healthcare IT and developing a highly skilled workforce. Her research focuses on advancing healthcare\, academic equity\, and stakeholder involvement in developing relevant curricula. Dr. Agnew has shared her expertise on competency-based healthcare education and workforce development at the local and national levels.
